OJ Made in America: I am including this as a movie as it was nominated for an academy award. An in depth look at the murder trail, the man, and racial relations in Los Angeles. I lived through this, watched it on the news, and went to USC. At times infuriating, at times enlightening.
La La Land: Charming. That is the word that comes to mind for the first part of the film. Heart wrenching the last. Sacrifices have to be made to get what you want in life.
Dr. Strange: I convinced my girlfriend to watch this because one of the writers was the creator of Rick and Morty. It has great and imaginative action. The medical scenes needed some work.
Deadpool: I can’t believe this movie exists, but I am so glad it does. A testament to Ryan Reynolds to get this on the big screen.
Moana: Disney does it again.
Nice Guys: Shane Black does it again. I love Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, and I love this. Entertaining. Russel Crowe and Ryan Gosling have great chemistry. It is what makes this film.
Hacksaw Ridge: A true story. An amazing story. Mel Gibson may be crazy, but I am glad he’s back behind the cameras. He is an insanely talented director.
Hidden Figures: Another true story. Unsung heroes of NASA. Great soundtrack.
Star Wars Rogue One: This is the Star Wars movies I never thought I would see. The last 10 mins just caps an amazing cinema experience.
Arrival: Communication is everything.
